some trends that are likely to converge in

Despite what seems a slower uptake
than that of smartphones in general,
the increased use of HR apps for hourly
management is likely a harbinger for
other industries beyond hospitality
and retail, while within those fields,
growing use of clock-in and clock-outs via
smartphones is evident.
HR members surveyed professed to
see value in smartphone apps: higher
productivity, more timely decision making
and enhanced end-user engagement.
These positive views bode well for
increased adoption when the core
HR and talent apps now in place in
the organization support smartphone
